For the benefit of those who haven't heard any news updates it appears that the minor explosions today are essentially hoax bombs - so at this stage noone need worry about anyone in London - NO CASUALTIES.
However I suppose its worth noting that this looks either like freelance bandwagoneering or an attempt to undermine confidence in the capital, possibly with a longer term game in mind.
The thing is our city is just too big and too ugly to be disrupted by this, whether its because of the capitalism red in tooth and claw that demands our international population gets to work to earn its daily crust or because of our intrinsic need to get together and party.
Actually I know who the culprits are, as I was explaining to the American executive after we had turned down an offer by a taxi driver to take us into London for a mere £50 a head, it's the bloody minicab drivers!
Having said that, many thanks to the cabbie who picked me up from Golders Green and took me home for just £12... Clearly a Jedi.
